Chingford Athletic win Spartak Cup

Chingford Athletic Res made up for league disappointment to win the Spartak Cup last Wednesday evening. In front of a terrific crowd, they took an early lead but were pegged back level from the penalty spot. However, one of the goals of the season gave them their lead back to head into the break leading 2-1.

Glendale put in a storming second half performance and got level once more at 2-2 but it was to be Chingford's night as an overhead kick was the difference between the sides as Dan Costis' team lifted the cup!!
